Call for Distinguished Member Award Nominations

Dear CRANE Members,

Do you know an ODS who has made a lasting impact on our profession? Or perhaps you know someone whose dedication, leadership, and service deserve recognition—including yourself.

We are now accepting nominations for the CRANE Distinguished Member Award, which honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to the Oncology Data Specialist profession and our association.

To be eligible, nominees must:

• Hold the ODS credential.

• Have made outstanding contributions in more than one of the following areas:

• • Service to CRANE

  • Outstanding achievement in professional practice

  • Leadership in education

  • Contributions through advocacy

Nominees should also demonstrate contributions in multiple areas, such as:

• Active participation and leadership in regional and/or local professional associations.

• Professional achievements, including advancing professional theory or techniques, consulting with others in the field, or serving as a recognized resource in a specialty area.

• Leadership in education through presentations at professional meetings, workshops, seminars, or conferences, and/or mentoring ODS candidates and newer ODSs.

• Other meaningful contributions to the profession.

• Service to the community through religious, civic, or volunteer activities.

We encourage you to take a few moments to recognize a deserving colleague—or nominate yourself if your accomplishments reflect the spirit of this award. Self-nominations are welcome.
