Active: An active member shall be a
Certified Tumor Registrar and/or any person whose primary occupation is
involved with any or all facets of cancer registry work and who is
employed and/or resides in the six state New England region
(Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island,
Vermont). An active member in good standing shall be entitled to all
membership privileges including the right to vote, hold office or chair
a committee.

Associate: An associate member shall be any
person interested in the purpose of CRANE who does not meet the
qualifications of active membership or any institution or organization
interested in the purposes of CRANE. An associate member shall not
vote, hold office or chair a committee but may serve on a committee.

Honorary: Any person who has made a
significant contribution to the profession of cancer registry
administration or rendered distinguished service in the profession or
its related fields may be elected to honorary membership by petition to
and recommendation by the Executive Board, and subsequent approval of
three-fourths of the voting members at a general meeting. Honorary
members shall be exempt from the payment of annual dues. They shall not
vote, hold office or chair a committee, but may serve on a committee.
Application for membership shall be submitted in a manner prescribed by
the Executive Board together with applicable fees and/or assessments.
