Job Description:
Maintain program
approval and compliance of the
hospital wide Cancer Program.
Responsible for assuring the timely
and accurate assignment, submission,
and abstracting of diagnostic and
procedural codes from clinical
records. Responsible for
coordination of the hospital’s
Cancer Committee.
Required
Qualifications:
National Tumor
Registry Certification (CRT)
required or CRT eligible. Extensive
knowledge of anatomy, physiology
medical terminology and ICD-O coding
required. Use of American Joint
Committee on Cancer (AJCC) and
Surveillance, Epidemiology and End
Result Reporting (SEER) Staging
experience is required. Advanced
computer skills are required.
Compensation/Benefits:
$19.360 - $26.339
